I have fallen in love. It’s not very often that your perfect match comes around. I’m talking a soulmate-level match that is perfect in every way. Oh, did you think I was talking about a person? No, I mean a lipstick. I have been on the hunt for the perfect lip formula for months now, and I have finally found it. Or, I guess I should say, it found me. It’s called the Cocoa Butter Semi Matte Lipstick, and it is incredible.
I’ve been a huge fan of 100 Percent Pure for a while now. They make incredible, all-natural products. There’s only one downfall — the price. The brand is most definitely high-end. Although it’s worth every single penny, it’s still hard to spend so much on one product. So when they offered free lipsticks to their customers, I immediately hopped on the deal.
For just the price of shipping, the brand offered their customers thousands of free full-sized lipsticks. That made the $29 lip product just $5.95. Now that I could afford. I snagged their Cocoa Butter Semi-Matte Lipstick in Pink Canyon and Currant.
There had to be a catch, right? I reached out to Susie Wang, Founder of 100% Pure, to ask why they were literally giving away lipsticks that normally sell for $29, and her answer was to spread awareness about all-natural beauty.
When you apply lipstick in the morning and it goes away by end of the day, it doesn’t just evaporate, we’re ingesting our lipsticks – which is why I developed healthy lipsticks colored from fruits. I feel it’s important for beauty lovers to know there are healthy, cruelty-free alternatives.
Really makes you think, huh?
This is my perfect lip formula of all time. I have been wearing the shade Pink Canyon every single day. The shade looks great with full-glam, but I’ve worn it with nothing but BB Cream and mascara as well. Basically, it does it all. It’s so good that it lives in my purse. That’s how you know it’s good.
The color’s not the only thing I love about this lipstick. The semi-matte formula is the best I’ve found yet. It’s the perfect mix of long-wearing and comfortable. It also layers really well, so you can easily touch up throughout the day. I typically only needed to once though.
How perfect is that nude! It’s only been two weeks and I’ve made a serious dent in this shade. I wore the Currant shade a few times as well. It’s just as great, but a little bit harder for me to pull off. This pink is easy to just throw on with any outfit. For me, this is well worth the $29, and I will definitely be repurchasing when this one is gone.
Unfortunately, the free lipstick promo has ended. If you guys are interested in trying it for less, I can try to reach out and ask for a promo code of some sort. Let me know in the comments if that is something you’d want!
